    1. ID - An identifier should be used for each product you will promote on AdWords. It is best to use the SKU number for the product if possible. Make sure the content is accurate and that it includes details on distinguishing features of whatever you are selling. Don’t use gimmicky words in your title.
    3. Description - The description can be up to 5,000 characters long and includes more details of a product for sale. For the men’s brown leather boot, you could list information on what that boot is made of, the type of sole, any aeration features, how you can clean it and so forth. Adding enough detail is important, but it should still be accurate. This should not include any links to your store or details on any sales. The description must only focus on the product you are trying to sell to without being pushy or promotional in the process.
    4. Link - The link is the landing page for the product you are selling. This is not the front page or some page of a generic section, but rather a page that concentrates solely on what you are selling. This works best when an encoded URL is used.
    5. Image Link - The image of your product must also be included with a URL link to that image. The image must accurately show whatever you are selling without including promotional text or unwanted content.
    6. The availability of your product - State that your product is either in stock, out of stock, or is being preordered. Keep a careful eye on your inventory.
    7. Price - Always enter the regular price of your product. You do not have to list the sale price.
    8. Product Category - For example, men’s boots, you can use a category listed on the Merchant Center that refers to apparel followed by clothing and then something for shoes. Go as far deep into this as possible.
    9. Brand Identifier - You must enter information on the brand of your product. If you are selling boots from Columbia, enter that brand. This can be up to 70 characters long.
    10. GTIN - The Global Trade Item Number must be included. This should be the UPC for your product. It would be the EAN in Europe or the JAN in Japan. For a book, the ISBN would be used.
    11. Condition - List this as being new, used, or refurbished.
    12. Adult Status - You would use this if the product you are selling is designed with suggestive use for adults. Google will adjust your AdWords experience to ensure that the product is only promoted to people who are of legal age.
